Job Description

    Job descriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Head to lead our procurement department and drive strategic sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, vendor management, contract negotiation, and supply chain management. As the Procurement Head, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, optimizing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and execute procurement strategies to support organizational objectives and goals.
    • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to drive cost savings, process improvements, and efficiency gains across the procurement function.
    • Monitor market trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements to inform procurement decisions.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure procurement performance and drive continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and legal departments, to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business objectives.
    • Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Manage vendor relationships, resolve issues, and mitigate risks to ensure uninterrupted supply of goods and services.
    • Develop and mentor procurement team members, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelors degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
    • years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record of success in strategic sourcing and vendor management.
    • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
    • Knowledge of procurement best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
