We are hiring GIS Application developer for our Pune office.QualificationsBE/Btech/ME/Mtech/MCA/MSJob ResponsibilitiesMust possess working knowledge of the following Development of custom tools and functionalities in a web based GIS application such as Map Viewer with map elements common map navigation tools bookmarks tool and overview map etc Thematic visualization based on user defined classification ranges and dynamic symbology displayed over ESRI s various online basemaps Google Maps and OpenStreetMap etc Table of Contents for vector and raster layers with layer selection opacity and legend symbology Layer identification followed by display of attributes in information box Search functionality for geocoded places and identification of a location through reverse geocoding Searching for points of interest by category user drawn region or user specified proximity to a location etc subsequently displaying in zoom based clusters Query building with statistical results to be output in table and option to export in Microsoft Excel format Charting tool with options to switch between line graphs bar graphs bubble charts pie charts and donut charts etc Map overlay of various GIS layers query building and extraction of spatial information Generation of heat maps Routing tool to generate shortest route with turn by turn directions from source to destination along with options for adding via points and barrier lines in between Integration of real time feeds such as from vehicle tracking weather stations and SCADA etc Importing of GPS coordinates data from Microsoft Excel worksheet and exporting to shapefile Importing and displaying of external shapefile in web map viewer Drawing tool and exporting the graphics in shapefile format Measurement tool and conversion between units of measure Time conversion such as UTC to Local Swipe and spotlight tools Elevation profiling and tool for viewshed analysis Viewing of geotagged photographs Printing and exporting the map view in JPG or PDF format Generation and exporting of custom reports in PDF format Role based access to specific functionalities of web based GIS application Establishing connections of application server to database server and web server Fetching GIS dataset through web services and APIs Exposing of web services APIs for third party consumption Mashups with exposed third party APIs XML and JSON data interchange Publishing of OGC compliant WMS WFS and WCS etc Required Software Skills Must be proficient in Development of tools and functionalities in ESRI s ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4 plus for both 2D and 3D web GIS applications Dojo Toolkit Portal for ArcGIS Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online ESRI s ArcGIS Desktop 10 plus Geoprocessing Tools with Spatial Analyst and 3D Analyst Extensions ESRI s Shapefile format Geodatabase and Spatial Data Engine SDE PostgreSQL an open source object relational database management system PostGIS an open source software program that adds support for geographic objects to the PostgreSQL Oracle Spatial C sharp NET and ASP NET Preferred Additional Software Skills Good to have knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise ArcGIS GeoAnalytics Server ArcGIS GeoEvent Server ArcGIS Image Server Data Interoperability Extension for ArcGIS Server Insights for ArcGIS and Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS AppStudio for ArcGIS Survey123 for ArcGIS and Qt Modeling Language HTML5 and CSS3 SAP HANA ArcObjects and VB NET WCF and WPF,
