Job Description

As the Shared Services organization looks at entering the next phase of its evolution, the focus on digital interventions is increasing, skill enhancements, process re-engineering, Hyper-automation are the new rules of the game. The role of Principal Product Owners will be a key position within the CFSL Digital team and will be located in Pune, India. This role will provide support to the fulfilment of the Digital strategy.

  • Accountability for the product vision and strategy, budgeting of requirements.
  • Focus on the products vision, company objectives, and the market trends
  • Define Internal team strategy to meet _VOIS objectives by mobilizing internal resources
  • Communication with key stakeholders and product sponsors across Vodafone.
  • Developing and managing partner relationships, identifying new business opportunities and contributing to growth and development of CFSL Digital
  • Responsible for business themes, features and sometimes for epics definition.
  • Coordinates product development on a high level.
  • Responsible for definition of MVPs, Pilot. Extending product in multiple versions continuously.
  • Responsible for the product and it s features from concept to End Of Life.
  • Owns team backlog and responsible for building, editing, and managing it by engaging the product manager, agile team, stakeholders, and IT partners
  • Define & Manage Internal Budget for the team across all locations
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
  • Accountable for the suite of initiatives in the area of Digital for Customer Engagement, Digital for Optimisation and Digital for Innovation plans for the Service Line.
  • Identify Service Line specific digital and intelligent tool requirements, and Lead Functional and Commercial Assessments for the same.
  • Lead digital innovation and ideation across the entire Service Line footprint using global evolving technologies to identify opportunities for efficiencies driving further business excellence and customer experience.
  • Develop, Incubate, Pilot new technologies and solutions in the Area of Digital and Intelligent Automation with the ability to scale up to deliver the Digital objectives and targets for the respective service lines
  • Provide thought leadership on design and delivery of new digital tool implementations
Core competencies, knowledge and experience Essential: 15 + years of experience in ITES sector / BPO/KPOExperience:
  • Business Domain Knowledge Preferably
  • F& A Background
  • Digital Landscape knowhow Preferably in Finance environment
  • Knowledge of process improvement (e.g. Six sigma/Lean), automation, and rationalisation methodologies
  • Strong commercial acumen in a global technology / managed services environment
  • Successful ability to drive change in a highly complex organisational environment; made complex by dispersed geographies
  • Comfortable with operating in a multi-dimensional, complex operating model, deals well with tight & sudden deadlines.
Key performance indicators
  • Design and deliver the digital roadmap for given service line
  • Support service line to deliver their digital targets through implementation of digital tools and services
  • Maintain an up to date digital portfolio
  • Improve digital maturity index of the service line
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
  • Graduate/ Post graduate in any stream
  • Lean Six sigma Master Black Belt
  • Certified Product Owner
  • Project Management PMP/Prince 2
