Job Role & Responsibility
Meet with clients to study and determine design requirements Advise clients on strategies to reach a particular audience Determine the message the design should portray Conceptualize visuals based on requirements Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design Test graphics across various media Amend designs after feedback Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops, reviewing professional publications and participating in professional societies
Skills Proven graphic designing experience A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics Extensive experience with design software like Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, specifically with mockups, web design and multimedia presentation Experience working with WordPress templates A keen eye for aesthetics and details Good communication skills Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients Good time management skills Team player Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
