Job Description

  • Administration of multiple analytics platforms including: Hadoop Clusters, H20 and Spark Clusters
  • Cluster maintenance and monitoring setup using tools like Ganglia, Nagios, Ambari etc.
  • Experience working with cloud based Hadoop and SQL technologies like Athena and Glue
  • Experience working with cloud based Hadoop and SQL technologies like Athena and Glue
  • Familiarity with code deployment and configuration management tools like Puppet or similar
  • Debugging Java Applications is a must have
About you:
  • Working knowledge on setting up and deploying new hardware and software required for Hadoop and Spark within AWS EMR
  • Architecture and implementation of edge compute use cases
  • Ability to derive meaningful metrics from various log files for Hadoop, Hive, Spark systems
  • Troubleshooting skills and understanding of resource management, security (user level and file system level), as well as experience managing CPU, memory, storage resources for a large Hadoop cluster with 100s of users
Admin requires:-
  • a) EMR ( AWS) cluster administration experience - Auto scaling, Access Management, Code deployment, Performance tuning
  • b) Done automation for creation and configuration of clusters.
  • c) Experience on cluster resource management
  • Work flexible hours to accommodate meeting with global teams
