Job Description

    Primary Objective: The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Human Resources (HR) should provide executive-level leadership and guidance to the organizations HR operations. The AVP will lead the HR Department and is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.Job Responsibilities:Administrator for all Human Resources functions and supervises all HR staffDevelop and deliver a comprehensive HR strategy that integrates and closely aligns with the business strategyContinually strives to improve all HR processes and programsIdentifies key performance indicators for the organizations human resource and talent management functions; assesses the organizations success and market competitiveness based on these metricsResearches, develops, and implements competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programsEnsures compliance with employment, payroll, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirementsMaintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent managementOversees the organizations recruitment, interview, selection, and hiring processesWorks with the team and manages all employee data, files and information in ways that are relevant, easy to manage, and compliantEngages with senior management to formulate and implement HR initiatives across the organizationResponsible for investigating, monitoring, and resolving complex employee situations from origin to conclusion while minimizing organizational riskDesign leadership development programs and/or supporting development initiativesPerforms other duties as assignedBehavioural Attributes RequiredCommitment to ongoing HR learningStrong work ethicAbility to maintain confidentialityDomain/Functional AttributesStrategic and process orientedChange management capabilityStakeholder managementEducational Requirements:Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Masters/MBA in HR is highly preferredPerson with Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management experience will be added advantage
