As the Head of Architecture Governance you will be instrumental in improving our governance, controls and processes across the Investment Bank s application portfolio. This will include key deliveries requiring engagement with senior individuals across Investment Banking IT and Group CTO, for example: Within the Investment Bank you will work with each line of business addressing technical debt, end of life and enterprise requirements Enable data driven decisions by owning key data products that are imperative to the Investment Bank s ability to govern its estate. Measure, monitor, alert and improve portfolio health of the estate, by connecting and modelling different data products Manage and orchestrate decommissions across the Investment Bank by coordinating technical leads and actively monitoring and reporting to senior stakeholders Work with Group CTO to understand how changes in strategy affect the Investment Bank s estate and own the communication strategy across Investment Banking IT Work with the Head of Architecture and CTO on the Enterprise Architecture for the Investment Bank Own for the Investment Bank s Request for Technology process Engage teams for improvements, drive automation and continuous improvement in CTO and other architecture functionsYour Career ComebackWe are open to applications from career returners. Our role is to provide IBIT teams with oversight, support, analysis, and solutions to implement a strategic architecture. We help by sharing the architecture vision, modelling the business, mapping data flows, and illustrating component integration. With the Head of Architecture we run Architecture, Architecture Governance (your area), Data Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Cloud Engineering and Cloud Adoption across the Investment Bank., Experienced in architecture governance and the software delivery lifecycle Have a background in development, architecture or technical governance Agile mindset and focus on delivering value Worked with tools such as PowerBI, Tableau and Alteryx Ability to convey status, dependencies, issues & risks in a clear concise manner Creative / analytical thinker with an ability to understand complex problems Experience of chairing / facilitating meetings with senior stakeholders Excellent organisation, planning & scheduling skills Strong influencing skills, able to get consensus from a broad range of opinions Focused on quality Quick learner Not afraid to tear up the rulebook and start again An excellent and confident communicator Comfortable working independently to create direction and strategy, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment An independent thinker who looks for a more efficient means to achieve goals Fluent in English
