GENERAL RESPONSIBILITYThe Paint Shift Incharge has to support Paint Manager for production on the Paint Shop, Paint Utilities, Final Inspection,Rework areas in all the work shifts to optimize the available manpower. Optimize the available manpower, equipmentand resources to manufacture conforming product according to quality and quantity standards asked for company policy.He is responsible for safe working culture in his area and deploying the organization programs in the area.DUTIES % OF TIME Ensure safety at work 25% Organize the department, production process & systems bypractising the company Systems, IATF & ISO standards30% Manage the department personnel Communication, Improvementactions, Training & Development. Management of Quality system in his area Management of environmental system20%15%10%CLIMATEThe Paint Supervisor has to support Paint Shift In charge for production in respectively process & quality, deploysystems, optimize the resources available and control the costs as applicable in his area. He should help to create synergicwork culture in conjunction with all related Departments and personnel.DUTIES STANDARDS Operational Control area Ensure safety at work Paint shop Production and Quality. Verify the correct use of PPE by the staff of thedepartment, as well as the maintenance of theprotective devices on machinery and equipment. Ensure the department personnel is always informedand update about rules, regulations and disposition inforce and about consequences of their transgression. Communicate to Office in charge all incidentshappened into the department, analyze facts to havepermanent action in place. Organize the department and the productionprocess Tracks and ensures KPI and performance index asOEE, Fallout, Productivity, Consumable control alongwith Aluminum wheel Painting best practices. Ensure Production plan in accordance with fixed time,checking quantity and quality with reference to qualitystandard required. Analyze production plan, checking quantity, lots,features and technical data, communicating possiblevariations and taking suitable steps. Monitor technological checks and operating phases, inorder to ensure productive standards. Organize equipment and personnel, in order to reachproduction aims established. Support New Launches, Trials, process modificationsetc in his area. Ensure deployment of various systems (in applicableform) such as M2S, TPM etc. Communicate with Maintenance department / ManagerMaintenance for anomalies on equipment causinggeneral malfunctioning, ensure repairs and / orpreventive maintenance, supervise and plan theoperations of extraordinary maintenance. Ensure workstations are always in order according to5S actions. Ensure proper communication within department in allsuitable forms Provide training and evaluation of personnel accordingto assigned tasks, promoting a constant growth andimprovement. Determine training needs according to the skills matrixand requirements for Team leaders / operators &inform Shift In charge in order to promote theautonomy and independence. Ensure the department personnel knows and keeps abehavior in accordance with the company code. Manage personnel planning (holidays, permits,diseases, incidents, shift change) Communicate changes in company code, jobprocedures and activities to do. Provide support to junior for activities management,promoting their growth. Cooperate to management of Quality system Ensure the correct application of Quality systeminstructions in line with ISO-TS 16949 / IATFregulation, Customer requirements, ensuring theachievement of defined KPI. Execute the product, process and system audit,according with Quality Systems. Work closely with Quality department on key results as(laboratory tests, engineering tests and periodicalexamination of Paint shop processes). Cooperate with others Department to prevent and/orresolve Quality problems. Cooperate to management of environmentalsystem Ensure the correct application of environmental systemISO 14000 & Customer specific standards.JOB SPECIFICATIONSSkills Analytical, Problem Solving, Judgment, Decision making, Coaching, Technical Expertise in Paint Technology ,Paint Application techniques /equipments, Manpower handling, Six Sigma certification preferred.Knowledge / Experience Painting, Pre-treatment, Powder coating processes. Material properties, Paint consumables B.E. / Diploma in Surface Coating Technology / Paint Technology / Mechanical About 5 - 7 years of experience in similar work area with ISO / TS background.,
