Job Specification: HR and Administrative Assistant Job Location: Plot No. F-27, MIDC, Ranjangaon, Taluka- Shirur, Pune, India, 412220. Joining: within 30 days (Preferred) Job Summary:The HR and Administrative Assistant performs administrative assignments of a confidential nature for senior level managers. This position requires continuous use of technical and business vocabulary and a detailed knowledge of organizational operations, Human resources process, general administration and staff. This position must interact with all levels of the organization in a professional and effective manner. Essential Functions:
    • Administers Avients HR policies, programs and procedures for the employees in assigned group. These include salary and wage administration, health and welfare benefits inquiries, retirement plan inquiries, HR information systems, payroll/time attendance, Leave management, organizational Training and development plans, Exit formalities and F&F formalities.
    • Makes independent decisions about planning, organizing, and scheduling work within guidelines.
    • Gains exposure to manufacturing environments through regular visits to business unit plants.
    • Utilizes advanced computer skills to prepare complex correspondence, reports, presentations, charts, tables and forms.
    • Organizes work load to comply with deadlines and priorities, works independently to complete routine correspondence, reports and forms for review.
    • Partnering with Labour contractor and the business unit for end to end Labour & hourly hiring for non-exempt or lower level exempt business unit positions.
    • Ability to handle various HR-related audits as scheduled (such as quarterly contractor audits, ISO, and so on) as well as prepare and maintain all records.
    • Thorough understanding of statutory compliance and all planned manufacturing and labour contract returns.
    • Makes Hotel booking & travel arrangements as needed both domestically and internationally.
    • Handles hotel reservations and travel arrangements both domestically and overseas as needed.
    • Demonstrated experience in vendor management, employee grievance handling, organizing employee engagement activities, and Committee meetings.
    • Coordinates on-boarding activities for business unit hires.
    • Ensures that Avient reward and recognition programs are utilized.
    • Ability to coordinate activities with other functions as needed.
    • Special projects as needed.

    • Bachelors or Master s degree in human resources, labor relations, or organizational development, or in a related discipline.
    • Proven HR admin or assistant experience of 5-7 years
    • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
    • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational and planning skills
    • Proficient in MS Office
