Job Description

    Job descriptionHiring for Top MNC company. Looking for 1-4 yrs of exp in Pricing profile .JOB DESCRIPTION- IMDB (Insurance Market database)Process OverviewThe Subject matter expert/analyst will support the IMDB in validating the prices of complex financial instruments and basic logic behind yield curves construction, correlation data calculation logic.Major Job Role:
    • Validation of prices between different price vendors using MarkitEDM platform
    • Extensive use of market data providers such as Bloomberg and Reuters.
    • Interaction with other support team for day to day BAU activities (Application support Team)
    • Working on change requests which includes UAT testing and preparing test Cases.
    • Process Documentation (SOP) and improvement in term of automation and reducing redundant Process steps
    • Stale data analysis and query handling around the price delivered.
    Knowledge and skill set required:
    • Excellent understanding of derivatives and financial instruments like swaption, implied volatility, Interest rate fixing, benchmark indices and yield curves, bootstrap process.
    • Exposure to widely used applications like MarkitEDM, Fincad, MS Access and major external data vendors
    • Strong analytical, statistical and communication skills
    • Should be familiar with MS Office tools, particularly Excel. MS access, Knowledge of programming macros, SQL will be a plus.
    • Systematic and disciplined approach for all work undertaken.
    • Flexibility for late night shifts.
    • Proactive and Reliable team player
    Qualifications and work experience:
    • Masters in Finance/Business Administration
    • At least 6-8 years of relevant work experience.
