Job Description

"We have an opening with us @ Pune for Information Security Consultant

  • Directly responsible for GRC tool operations.
  • Oversee formal risk assessment and self-assessments program for various Information Services systems and processes.
  • Liaise with organization technology security policy, ISO 27001, Data privacy and regulatory requirement to remediate new and outstanding issues; track security-related issues with in-house GRC Tool.
  • Promote and monitor our corporate wide IS Security awareness for ISO 27001 program.
  • Maintenance and continuation of ISO 27001 certificate for client which include activity but not limited to Internal Audit, information security risk management, MRM and support process owner for external audit.
  • Manage, coach and lead staff of GRC personnel.
  • Train other staff and external clients as necessary.
Professional security certification: ISO 27001 LA is preferred.CISA, CEH, ECSA, Cyber Security Courses is an advantage.Background / Qualifications:- Strong understanding of ISO 27001 as well as industry security frameworks.- Strong knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation.- Knowledgeable of governance, risk and compliance systems (GRC)- A bachelors degree required; graduate degree or courses a plusAdministrative Expectations: - Ability to work independently with or without direction and/or supervision.- Ability to prioritize and multitask. Flexibility and adaptability in work approach.- Calmness and clarity of thought under pressure and ability to maintain confidentially.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Demonstrated leader with team-oriented interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interface with a broad range of people and roles.- Accept responsibility and personal accountability."
