Job Description

  • Evangelise and implement security best practices and processes across the organisation.
  • Drive various compliance and certification requirements across the organisation.
  • Design and implement architecture for regular automated security audits.
  • Own security/compliance at Helpshift (India & the US), and be the go to person for anything security.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Leads and Platform team.
About You:
  • 7+ years experience in an Infosec and or compliance role.
  • Bachelors Degree with a focus in technology, preferred Computer Science/MIS Engineering/Information Systems.
  • Good communication and planning skills. Ability to work with org leadership and teams to implement security plans.
  • Knowledge of SOC2, IS0 27001/27017/27018, HIPPA,COPPA, GDPR, CCPA. PCI knowledge good to have.
  • Understanding of how to secure Cloud environments ( we use AWS and Azure ).
  • Implementation of CI / CD pipeline.
  • Hands on knowledge of standard UNIX Infrastructure tools ( we use Ubuntu Linux and Mac OSX ).
  • Good understanding of SAAS products, web technologies.
  • Experience in planning and effectively driving VAPT and implementing IDS/NIDS.
  • CISSP, CISP, CISM, CIPP or equivalent certification is a plus.
