Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.Introduction:The infrastructure Sr. Engineer will be responsible for the building & maintaining of Infrastructure estate for SAM8 project. It involves engineer to focus on end to end build cycle covering design, procurement, build & support. In order to meet multiple regulatory milestones, new set of environments are getting built & this role is explicitly created to support the critical delivery timeline. The role involves understanding the business requirement, creating IA document, solutioning the design, creating the implementation plan & then liaising with required technical/component teams for implementation. Strong understanding of control & compliance is needed considering we are dealing with critical transaction data. It is must that candidate possess in depth understanding of Change, Incident & problem management processes. On technical ground candidate should have experience in environment management & physical/cloud based Infrastructure delivery. Excellent proficiency expected with Linux, Oracle DB, Tomcat, Chef, AppDynamics & Shell scripting. Candidate to possess hands on experience with Certificate management, CyberArk password management & different cloud platforms like aPaaS, AWS etc.What will you be doing Experience in setting up end-to-end infrastructure as per design, by co-ordinating with component teams Experience in managing the infrastructure set up for multiple environments knowledge around building & supporting OAT, DR & PROD Experience with Chef cookbooks & Ruby. Experience in DevOps tools like Nolio, Jenkins, TeamCity, Gitbucket & Nexus. Experience in dealing with different component teams through change & incident management processes to implement the design changes or to troubleshoot the issues. (Knowledge on JIRA, ServiceNow, Remedy) Experience in on-boarding, building and operating applications environment over different Cloud platforms Experience in implementing or supporting enterprise level applications. Analyse problems, evaluate technical issues, test, maintain, modify, integrate, monitor and even plan to automate infrastructure delivery Thorough knowledge on Linux, Oracle Database, Tomcat 7/JBOSS, CyberArk & Autosys Expertise in Shell scripting Provide general framework plus environment to assist application developers and maintain activities. Hands on experience with DevOps processes, CyberArk and tools Understanding of Chef (Infrastructure as a code) added advantage if able to write infrastructure related scripts to automate all manual tasks using Ruby & shell scripts Good communication and inter-personal skills Need to be a good team player.What we re looking for:Excellent written and oral communication with extensive experience in financial services or highly regulated industry Experience in DevOps tools like Nolio, Jenkins, TeamCity, Gitbucket & Nexus.
