To lead the application development services for various local markets. To support key strategic growth areas, a Service Lead is required to support the definition of services and the operations strategy for AD projects.Create and maintain a high performance culture through colleague engagement, colleague development, continuous improvement initiatives, internal and external stakeholder engagementThe role covers setting up AD services in terms of resourcing, operational excellence and the control of benefits realisation with the business according to defined KPIs.Key accountabilities and decision ownershipLeads and managese2e service delivery for AD service clusters in a delivery factory model spanning across streams related to Demand management, Build, Test, Configuration and governance.Drive Operational excellence by ensuring all deliveries across all service clusters are delivered on-time and within budget.Manage & continuously improve agreed operating model& working relationship with customers/sr. stakeholders and act as an escalation point for the service owners.Manages resources/skills effectively and provides support to dedicated delivery models on need basis and maintains desired level of operational/technical skillset within the team.Actively contribute/lead the business process transformation initiatives in Technology Shared Services with common benefit to Vodafone as an organisation and its end customers.Drive and achieve TSSI cost efficiency targets through accelerate or equivalent framework.Core competencies, knowledge and experience :Essential:Advanced skills in service delivery in a shared service environment.Sound overall knowledge of AD methodologies and possibly OSS/BSS technologies, integration, data design methodologies, coding standards, version control, continuous deployment methodologies and industry best practicesAbility to manage a function with 100+ people with varied skills on technology in an application development/delivery factory type environment and a proven track record of effective management across own resources, shared service centre resources and outsourced staffStrong communication, engagement, influencing and decision-making skills able to deliver in a matrix environmentStrong senior stakeholder management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proven experience in leading/contributing to business transformation initiatives with overlapping or unique business benefitsStrong decision-making skills and an ability to take right decisions with calculated risks.Focus on Continuous Improvement always looking from a strategic point for areas of concern within the organisation and how best to improve those areas, as well as performance and processesKey performance indicators :Operational delivery excellence ensuring smooth and high quality delivery within TSSI.Business process transformation to meet efficiency targets that benefits both TSSI and the customer.Ensure VPS scores are above target consistently.,
