IS&T Project Analyst will be part of the PMO organisation which delivers valuable project management and supports our team of Project Managers whose objective is to deliver Programs and Projects on time, within budget, and with the highest quality possible. Our mission is to provide value-driven project management that affords IS&T the ability to adapt and manage transitions toward service delivery.IS&T PMO manages the development and implementation of a companys services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing projects.Primary Roles and Responsibilities:Provides support to project managers in day-to-day project administration so the PMs can focus on core dutiesAssist the PM in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, RFP s, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedulesEffectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project teamKeep the Project Manager (PM) and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relationsUse project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expendituresLeads small projects/maintenance releases: fosters teamwork; drives escalation and resolution of issuesMaintains all aspects of a given project, from requirements gathering to implementationEnsures that the scope of the project is defined and aligned with business prioritiesManages risks associated with Cost, Quality, time & Scope.Ensures that resources are assigned appropriatelyAddresses resourcing issues with resource managers, as needed.Manages project budget, including variance and scope change requests, manages the budget resolution processAddresses cost issues, as neededManages project schedules including resource assignment, dependencies, actuals and baselines.Proactively manage expectations and helps service managers communicate health to stakeholdersEnsures that the necessary project artefacts and communications vehicles are providedExperience/ Qualifications:2 to 4 years of experience of working in an IT environmentEnthusiastic learnerFamiliar with Agile Development and Project management practices and is able to manage small projects and serve as primary contact for the sameSolid Administrative capabilities (note taking, budget updates, risk/issue updates)Ability to work with the teams to execute all stages of the SDLC processCoordinate support required from other IT teams, including application owners, Security, Quality Assurance, etc.Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant subject area.Good leadership, interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organizationExperience of working in a distributed, global team environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalProven track record for working effectively with technical and business functionsKnowledge of MS Project 2010 or higher preferredProficiency with Power Point and ExcelUnderstanding of waterfall and Agile SDLC methodologies requiredScrumMaster certified a plus but not requiredPMP or ACP certification a plus but not requiredIt is the policy of BMC Software to afford equal opportunity for employment to all individuals regardless of race, color, age, national origin, physical or mental disability, history of disability, ancestry, citizenship status, political affiliation, religion, gender, transgender, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, status as a parent, sexual orientation, veteran status, genetic information or other factors prohibited by law, and to prohibit harassment or retaliation based on any of these factors.,
