The TOC Application Support covers both front-office and back-office functions. The TOC is chartered with ensuring stability of the production environment and is the gatekeeper that ensures that only properly tested and planned changes are implemented. Globally, the team is split into 3 groups; 1) the Level 2 Application Support group and 2) the Service Transition Team that provides Change and Release planning, deployment, and post implementation verification. 3) Automation and Tooling team to provide the implement the strategic tools and automation for the team for continuous improvement.TOC IB Operations is a global team providing 24 * 5.5 support located in India, Singapore and US. They support highly critical back office functions such as settlement and confirmations, regulatory reporting, collateral valuations for various products within Investment Banking portfolio., You have:Business Skills 8 years with an Investment Bank or financial institution worked in support or Continuous improvement team general knowledge of Securities, Collateral, Derivatives, FXMM and regulatory reporting applications and technologies Solid understanding of securities settlement flows , life cycles , market cut-offs etc.,Technical Skills Solid Linux / Unix skills, Shell or Perl or Python scripting experience Knowledge on AppDynamics, Splunk and other Machine Learning or AI tools. Knowledge on Automation Anywhere & IPSoft Automation tool Hands-on Experience in developing the automation and drive the strategic ideas to implement using the tools in UBS Strong problem management skills to analyse the repetitive tickets and reduce the same. Lead and Contribute to the Automation and Tooling by developing world class solutions to fit the requirement for the team. Process and Soft skills: a complete understanding of the ITIL Service Framework (incident, problem, release and event management a natural ability to solve complex issues and lead complex technical projects solid stakeholder management and relationship skills Complete understanding of end to end development cycle a continuous improvement mindset with proven success in this areaYou are: an effective technical core SME who has developed technical automation solutions a confident communicator that can explain complex technical issues to non-technical and senior stakeholder audiences having strong aptitude and analytical thinking skills Expert experience in a support role in a large organization Multi-tasking ability
