Job Description

Major responsibilities :

  • Manage work queues for IDM/IAM incidents, problems, changes, tasks, and requests and ensure workload is effectively managed; prioritize and respond to help desk tickets as appropriate.
  • Check incident and request database for entries on IAM/IDM platform issues and requests; prioritize and respond to help desk tickets as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with other VIT teams to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of the IDM/IAM systems.
  • Serve as a cornerstone for escalating issues; provide timely response to customer escalations.
  • Maintain the IDM/IAM platform known as today CyberArk and Okta and related services
  • Perform system configuration and management; define and perform system backups and recovery procedures.
  • Plan and implement upgrades, maintenance fixes, and vendor - supplied patches systems.
  • Provide application administration support by overseeing functions, such as assuring logging and metrics data are stable.
  • Monitor and test system performance and provide performance statistics and reports.
  • Create shell scripts as required.
  • Manage enterprise directory services and supporting IDM/IAM platform infrastructure.
  • Define and implement strategies for integrating disparate operating environments.
  • Recommend and execute modifications to the server and IDM/IAM environment in order to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain training materials and server/system documentation.
  • Create required reports in response to business user needs.
  • Develop, document, and maintain operational processes and tasks.
  • Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team

Education / Experience: Educational requirements and number of years related experience acquired before or with Varian Medical Systems (VMS)

Educational requirements: Degree in computer science or equivalent

CyberArk, AD and Okta trainings or at least 3 years of experience/practice, ITIL Certification

Number of years related experience: Minimum 10 years related experience, minimum 5 years of experience as IT IDM/IAM Administrator

Knowledge: Things incumbent needs TO KNOW to successfully perform on the job

Information Technology :

At least five years equivalent work experience in a senior technical analytical position responsible for managing server environments.

Advanced knowledge of the following: Active Directory, CyberArk, Okta, Windows Server 2016 / 2019.

Exceptional abilities at load balancing, clustering, and caching procedures and processes.

Specific knowledge of CyberArk and Okta platform(s) required, as well as strong working knowledge of Identity and Access Management.

Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining all manners of server hardware and operating systems.

Experience with server performance tuning and monitoring tools.

Familiarity with TCP/IP network protocols, firewall management, and operating system configuration.

Working technical knowledge of scripting code using PowerShell.

General knowledge of Active Directory/Global Catalogue.

Business process and reengineering experience, as well as an understanding of the relationship between processes and policies.

Proven knowledge of systems development life cycle methodologies.

Extensive application support experience with CyberArk and Okta.

Hands - on troubleshooting experience

Understanding of ITIL processes and best practice

Customers : Sound understanding of customers and their requirements.
