Job Description

Job Summary: Summary: The IT Business Operations Analysts responsibility is to bring value to IT through efficient operations. To do this, they identify, distinguish and analyze multiple components of a problem and then make conclusions using high-level quantitative skills. Common responsibilities include administration of key operational data related to purchasing, contracts, timesheets, and other key operational metrics. The IT Business Operations Analyst also performs strategic operations analysis, identifying performance trends, reviewing financial and other analyses and interpreting data. Individuals in this position work with a variety of people across IT and the company to perform their job; and therefore, successful Operations Analysts have strong knowledge of the business as well as strong skills in communication.Responsibilities:Execute on Purchasing requests (enter Purchase Requisitions, work with users to gather proper information, track through the approval cycle) Identify common areas opportunities for negotiation, liaise with Purchasing team Prepare and publish Oracle purchasing reports, providing IT Management necessary visibility to purchasing processes, approvals, roadblocks Execute on Contract requests (create new agreement records, work with users to gather proper information, track through the renewal, negotiation, and PR approval process) Prepare and publish Agreement contract reports Define and meet SLA s for tickets requests, based on categories of requests IT Business Operations Queue management Prioritize and execute on tickets requests Define and meet SLA s for tickets requests, based on categories of requests Maintain communication site for IT Business Operations highlight recent findings, define and publish process improvement activities, publish standard reports for IT Management team Maintain document repositories create new sites, spaces, folders, places, where required Prepare and publish Quarterly Metrics consolidate metrics from the teams and prepare executive level summaries of IT metrics, with areas of focus for upcoming quarters QualificationsNumber of Years of Work Experience: 2Required Skills:Proven experience working within a Business Operations function Strong data management and analysis skills. Attention to detail is a must Highly professional with proven reliability regarding daily attendance and work performance Strong organizational skills, flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy IT environment Self-starter with integrity, high energy, and solid business judgment to meed the needs of a demanding business and IT environment Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint Skills include strong business acumen and strategic thinking to complement strong tactical execution skills Experience with a reporting platform such as Power BI functional reporting capabilities of Salesforce.com andor Oracle Basic understanding of financial reporting concepts and process (plan, forecast, actuals) Preferred Skills:Contract Management (Salesforce platform, Apttus contract management) Oracle procurement, project and resource management Experience with Reporting platforms such as Power BI Education: Bachelors Degree,
