Job Description

  • You will install, repair and analyze hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
  • You will document service request with appropriate communication with customer for resolution, and observations, if any, using incident and service request management system
  • You will understand business requirements and provide appropriate solutions within the approved budget and timelines.
  • You will provide appropriate support according to roles and SLA.
  • You will comply with and be aware of HW, SW and Security policies
  • You will collaborate with other IT domains and non-IT stakeholders to provide the required level of service and incident resolution.
  • You will manage relationships with relevant PC vendors for hardware and software needs, as required.
  • You will ensure timely support to VIP customers and appropriate TAT for critical project requirements.
  • You will participate in POCs and global PC projects, and undertake testing of new generation PC equipment such as desktops, laptops, screens, dumb terminals.
  • You will support war-room provisioning, town-hall support, meeting room support, etc.
  • You will create and update process documentation and the relevant records to support compliance requirements related to ISO-20000:2011 certification.
  • You will manage and lead Root Cause Analysis, Lessons Learned and prevention processes to meet high standard deliverables and ensure company methodology is followed.
  • B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering / Software Engineering.
  • Minimum 1 year of PC support experience.
  • Required Skills/Domain Knowledge
  • Must have minimum 2-3 years of technical support experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge to remote support tools like Skype for Business, RDP, SCCM, Bomgar
  • Excellent knowledge of PC, Laptop, Thinclient & Printer hardware
  • Expert knowledge of Windows7, Windows10 & MAC operating system (added advantage for intermediate Linux & Unix knowledge) operating system
  • Windows 2010 and fine tuning the same in compliance with Amdocs policies.
  • Excellent knowledge to evaluate new hardware to support growing business needs at site
  • Intermediate knowledge of Windows Exchange messaging system
  • Intermediate knowledge of backup systems like OneDrive, Druva Insync
  • Intermediate knowledge on Sharepoint
  • Knowledge on UC devices like Polycom, Trio, Intel Unite etc.
  • Knowledge on MAC OS deployment & Configuration using JAMF
  • Intermediate knowledge of Avaya EPBAX and expert knowledge of configuring Avaya extensions/ softphones.
