Do you have a knack for technology Are you at your best when leading and delivering on the next generation of capabilities to supervise financial advisors and their support staff We are looking for someone like that to: - interact with business and technology business, senior management, internal user groups and conduct internal and external research and analysis to define and develop product and services roadmap - lead and partner with vendors and internal development teams to deliver on multiple streams on the new platform - build and lead development teams and be responsible for delivery of the projects on time and on budget.* define specific initiatives aimed at improving services, products and processes based on the results of service and product reviews and process evaluations* enforce adherence to the SDLC principles and coach new team members on SDLC concepts.* negotiate Service Level Agreements with Group Technologys customers, and design services and products in accordance with the agreed service level targetsYour teamYou ll be working in the Wealth Management Americas Supervisory IT team in Business Service Center located in Pune, India. We have a small number of developers in this location that works with the team in Poland on a variety of projects that are focusing on applications used by WMA Field supervision staff in the branches as well as in home office. Our applications are integrated with other systems in UBS so its important that a business analyst is able to collaborate with other IT teams located across the globe., * a master s degree in computer science, computer information systems or related field of study* significant experience in designing and developing complex enterprise applications in the financial industry with relational and noSQL databases as well as Big Data technologies* sound knowledge of technologies such as Java, HTML5, Java Script, ExtJS and other Java script frameworks.- significant experience in designing and developing enterprise applications in the financial industry - 7+ years of experience working directly in or closely with a technology delivery organization; 4+ years of that experience should be in the financial services industry - experience in retail wealth management and wealth management supervision highly desired* experience working in Azure cloud and technologies like Denodo , Docker , Snowflake and DataBricks.- experience with the full software development life cycle including both traditional waterfall and agile methodologies - experience working with BRMS systems like Drools to externalize business rules - experience working with Big Data eco systems like Hadoop and non-SQL databases such as HBase and others, SPARK and SPARK streaming- experience with message bus technologies such as KAFKA - experience with continuous integration environments, automated unit testing and the tools used to support CI and release management.- experience working with teams located in other time zones across the globe- experience in presenting, collaborating and building trusted relationships with senior leadership (both business and technology) and technical peers to influence direction You are: - experienced in managing budgets minimally in the $1MM range - experienced in presenting, collaborating and building trusted relationships with senior leadership (both business and technology) and technical peers to influence direction - experienced working with technology leadership and business partners to understand high-level business visions with strategies and feeding them into technology strategies and roadmaps - experienced working with teams located in other time zones across the globe* experienced with logic algorithms, design patterns, optimizations and other development approaches* familiar with Agile methodology, Scaled Agile Framework and Scrum/Kanban delivery approaches* an excellent communicator who can partner with technical experts as well as end-users who might not be well versed in IT (you re comfortable talking to pros and amateurs)* fluent in English
