As a IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to e - commercee - payment applications for our global clients and stakeholders. You will be working on Java - based cloud - hosted applications with the IT team that emphasizes agility and efficiency to ensure high client and user satisfaction levels.

What you will do

Track and action incident, request and problem tickets submitted via ticketing tool and emails

  • Troubleshoot and investigate application functionality related issues and work collaboratively with other functional areas in IT to resolve issues
  • Monitor applications and infrastructure on a daily basis, investigate and mitigate any abnormalities in the applications collaboratively with IT Team
  • Research and propose solutions to enhance uptime, efficiency, and recoverability of systems
  • Suggest improvement in the process or application to reduce the time to resolve an issue
  • Meet or exceed client service levels as well as user satisfaction levels
  • Provide periodic updates about investigations to the clients and stakeholders. Publish RCA report upon the conclusion of the investigation
  • Document clear and concise technical, application and business knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
  • Build tools or scripts to automate or assist in resolving issueproblem tickets
  • Ask customersclients targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem
  • Participate in 24x7 (including holidays) on - call roaster based support for high - priority incidents.
    • What you will need

      • Bachelor of Engineering (BEB.Tech)
      • Minimum 2 years experience as IT support analyst
      • Experience with Java web technologies and Amazon web services
      • Good knowledge of relational database and UnixLinux commands with hands - on scripting experience
      • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues through log analysis
      • Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients and stakeholders through calls and emails to establish what the problem is and explain the solution
      • Experience in monitoring application and infrastructure
      • Strong problem - solving skills.
