Job Description

    Logix Incorporation is excited to offer a full-time, work-from-home opportunity for the position of IT Support Specialist . We are seeking a strong leader to guide our sales team and drive success.Key Responsibilities
    1. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
      • Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
      • Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently, including remote troubleshooting for agents and teams.
      • Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff or external vendors as needed.
    2. Account and Credential Management:
      • Maintain an up-to-date and secure record of all login credentials and accounts with utmost accuracy and privacy.
      • Regularly audit and update user permissions based on roles and organizational requirements.
      • Ensure compliance with data security protocols and industry standards.
    3. Remote Support:
      • Troubleshoot and resolve issues for remote employees using remote support tools.
      • Provide guidance on using company software and tools effectively in a remote setup.
      • Monitor the IT systems for remote employees to ensure smooth operations.
    4. Hosting and Domain Management:
      • Manage and maintain company hosting accounts and domain registrations.
      • Configure and troubleshoot issues related to website hosting, email servers, and DNS settings.
      • Collaborate with external hosting providers for upgrades or problem resolution.
    5. System Maintenance and Security:
      • Ensure the smooth operation and security of IT infrastructure, including firewalls, antivirus, and other protective measures.
      • Conduct regular system updates, patches, and backups.
      • Monitor and report on system performance and uptime.
    6. Data Management:
      • Organize and maintain critical IT documentation, including device inventories, system configurations, and user guides.
      • Ensure proper storage, backup, and accessibility of company data.
    7. User Training and Support:
      • Train users on best practices for maintaining cybersecurity and using IT systems effectively.
      • Prepare guides and FAQs for common IT tasks and issues.
    8. Collaboration and Vendor Coordination:
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve IT-related challenges.
      • Work with external vendors for equipment procurement, software updates, and maintenance.
    Skills and Qualifications
    • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Experience: 2 years in IT support or a similar role.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
      • Hands-on experience with remote support tools like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, etc.
      • Knowledge of hosting platforms (e.g., cPanel, AWS, Google Cloud) and domain management.
      • Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
      • Understanding of DNS, email configurations, and server management.
    • Soft Skills:
      • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
      • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
      • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
