Job Description

*Our Content Services Team at Emerson Climate technologies is looking for an IT Systems Analyst to help us grow and expand. Located in Sidney, Ohio, you will meet with our current user-base to help identify current content management challenges and help determine solutions to best meet their needs. You will provide a wide-array of services, both to internal and external customers, including:

  • Designing, programming, testing, implementing & maintaining a broad range of Content Services solutions
  • Attending meetings with other IT analysts to gather & analyze requirements for new solutions or modifications to existing solutions
  • Conducting end-user training upon completion of software
  • Supporting our existing infrastructure and application, as well as assisting in various upgrades or maintenance activities.
AS AN IT SYSTEMS ANALYST, YOU WILL:
  • Triage & address user issues in a timely manner (Level 1 Support)
  • Maintain incidents / requests in our ServiceNow tracking system
  • Learning to design, program, test, implement & maintain a broad range of Content Services solutions
  • Attend meetings with other IT analysts to gather requirements for new solutions or modifications to existing solutions
  • Conduct end-user training upon completion of software
  • Be available for occasional weekend & after hours on call support for critical Sev 1 issues & scheduled activities

You can take a complex problem and be able to communicate the details in a language users can understand., *REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Quick learner who seeks, obtains & applies new knowledge / skills
  • Ability to work in a large, global corporate structure
  • Strong sense of ethics & alignment with companys core values Keen eye for detail
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle & best practices
  • Proficiency in PC Skills (O365 Tools)
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • Prepare & create documentation (design/code, configuration & training materials)
  • Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodology
  • Experience in a computing environment with multiple programming languages.
  • Relational Database experience (SQL / T-SQL)
  • Knowledge / Use of Web Server Technology (preferably MS IIS)
  • Experience with Set-up & installation of most OnBase Modules, including Cold, DIP, Web Server & Application Server
  • Onbase Certifications or willingness to study
