- 5-10 yrs of experience in Java/J2ee technologies - Hands-on experience of Java/J2EE, core Java concepts (multithreading, design patterns using Java, collections etc.), Spring, Hibernate, Groovy and Grails preferred and building web services using REST/SOAP APIs java based distributed systems. - Proficiency with RDBMS Server in designing and optimizing queries, performance tuning and stored procedures - Good hands-on experience with Code Repository tools and Java debugging tools. - Drive technical excellence and implementation of best engineering practices such as estimation review, design review, code review, unit testing, continuous integration/development - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering. MS or Masters in Information Technology preferred - Data-driven decision maker - Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with other teams across the organization. - Ability to work effectively and achieve results across functional areas in a work environment with a high rate of change - Ability to manage multiple teams and initiatives providing a consistent record of all activities while handling confidential work with discretion - Extensive hands-on experience building and managing the development of complex, large scale enterprise applications and products with resilience and reliability - Proven experience in team management, attracting, hiring, retaining and leading top engineering talent and high-performance product engineering teams - Strong written, verbal communications, presentation skills, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills,
