JOB DESCRIPTION To be punctual and disciplined at work.To assess the patients on admission.To be responsible for sending the patient for the appropriate investigationTo obtain required Consent from patient or patient s surrogateTo assist in the OT sessions of the consultants for whom they are posted.To visit patients in the wards and assess them for treatment as deemed fit by his / her consultant and review them regularly.To complete the In-Patient rounds every day and fill the case sheets and progress notes without fail.To be responsible for providing adequate treatment to the patient.To maintain patient medical records as per hospital policy.To check the dosage, frequency, route of administrations of all medications, considering all precautions.To take appropriate initiatives in Medical Emergencies.To prepare the discharge summaries well in time and brief the patient about the follow-up and medications on discharge, etc.To attend orthopedics emergency patients in the casualty.To help in the outpatient services in concurrence with the consultant.To follow the hospital practices and demonstrate initiative aligned to ensure the safest possible environment for patients and staff.To be an active member for the quality initiatives of the department.To oversee the clinical work of junior medical staff of his / her clinical unit.To be part of disaster management team.,
