Job Description

    *Supports account reconciliation and analysis, journal entry preparation and data entry. Supports the month-end close process. Financial Regulations Acumen - Evaluates applicable regulations for the financial area of focus, such as tax, banking, pension, local accounting to ensure underlying transactions are recorded in compliance with applicable regulations; explains key requirements and purpose of regulations and implications to the business to inform and educate relevant stakeholders.Financial Internal Controls - Leverages internal control framework by assessing internal controls and developing remediation plans to mitigate financial reporting risks and respond to changing business needs.Education, Licenses, CertificationsHigh school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.ExperienceRequires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience. Experience Level5+ years of relevant experience in Fixed Assets, good toattention to detail and well organized. Ability to multi-task, work underpressure, and meet tight deadlines, working globally would be an advantage.Job SummaryResponsible for Fixed Assets work required to maintain theCMI general & sub ledger.Performs financial analysis of the department s chart ofaccounts and financial statements byidentifying and analysing variances.Key Role Responsibilities1. Manage FA Month End activities for Corp and Tax2. Support Maintenance Team when required3. Support project implementations/improvements whenrequired4. Manage Month End Team at an operational level regionally5. Lead and support General ledger & Fixed Asset daily& month end activities6. Review, investigate and resolve issues relating toGeneral Ledger & Fixed Assets.7. Ensure accuracy of reporting in multiple currencies andthe conversion techniques to US$8. Manage month end accounting consolidation and US$submission process for CMI entities results globally9.Promote common accounting by maintaining global setups andreporting with high quality.10.Ensure fixed asset module close and correctly reconciledto general ledger regionally11.Ensure SOx documentation is maintained in accordance withcurrent processes and controls.12.Ensure SLA s are met.13.Must be flexible in approach and a team player.14.Ability to manage staff, train, lead and develop.
