LAB MANAGER Candidate Profile Any Engineering with 10 -12 years experience in Labs Job Description This is the head of laboratory of the new GFI plant. He / She has to set up the new lab - Lab equipment set up - Lab furniture set up - Lab test methods set up - Lab staff recruiting for GFI Managing topics: Local management and organization of local laboratory Budgets planning & cost center responsibility Investment planning for the local lab, in coordination with Global Head of Labs Identifying of local and global cost saving potentials Local topics: Performing income inspection, in-process testing and final inspection Income inspection and analytical tests with GC, FT-IR, microscopy, Viscosity, . Performing in-process testing and final inspection tests like tensile, burning, weight, Thickness, color measurement, vacuum forming, foaming, microscopy, thermo stability, grain evaluation, Understanding other requirements like surface (abrasion, scratching, resistance, .), soiling and cleaning, heat aging, climate storing, odor, fogging, flexibility, foaming, microscopy, photo documentation, coldness (ball drop, folding, Flexibility), Sample preparation with punching, cutting, Programming of test devices like Tensile machines, GC, IR, . Performing income and final inspection incl. documentation in SAP, release on ok values. Block of raw materials on not ok values. Support R&D in creation of raw material and product specifications, especially in the use of test methods Calibration of measurement devices incl. documentation in SAP - Organize the maintenance and repair of broken devices.
