This exciting role offers opportunity to:This role of an Infrastructure Lead Analyst is a technical position having sound knowledge of observability, monitoring & event management process, tools, and techniques.The role requires the individual to thoroughly understand a wide range of enterprise applications software and technologies as well as business objectives and system requirements.Has extensive knowledge of IT Ops Automation for both Infrastructure Operations and Application Operations with ability to architect ITOPS Automation Solution using market standard AIOPS, Orchestration & Automation platforms.Responsible for managing and maintaining enterprise-level monitoring toolsets.The duties include installation, configuration and establishment of metrics for these toolsets.Makes performance enhancement recommendations.Research latest techniques for system and application measurement, tuning and implements when appropriate.Acts as a project leader in planning, directing, and coordinating monitoring activities.Additional duties may include benchmarking, capacity planning, performance measurement, analysis, and troubleshooting.Responsibility also includes developing and advancing AI/ML capabilities within the Monitoring Console, including Predictive Analytics and Anomaly Detection.Utilizes skills in conceptualizing creative solutions, documenting them and presenting/selling them to all levels of management. Has critical thinking ability, naturally curious, likes to push the envelope and not get easily overwhelmed.Implements a strong customer focus and management of customer expectations; ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and concern for users business needs.Utilizes strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with multiple teams to solve problems.Ability to develop relationships with peers, management, and key teams to accomplish goals.Strong project management skills, including experience managing multiple medium-scale to large-scale projects in a cross-functional environment.Development and maintenance of comprehensive project plans/schedules.Process requests for resources in timely manner with the ability to multitask and plan accordingly. Excellent organization, communication, writing and interpersonal skills.Responsible for maintaining ongoing performance of monitoring systems and planning/implementing updates or modifications according to business needs. Drive the best-in-class monitoring using a range of tools across the Enterprise. Drive POCs and incubate new features and capabilities. Be forward looking and ensure long term strategic success.Utilize Operator-level UNIX/Linux command knowledge, at a minimum, for toolset installs, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting. Understand complicated application architecture, including Java app servers, Web Servers, Cloud (Azure, AWS, Google), Docker, Kubernetes, TIBCO, mainframe etc.Models customer application performance utilizing load testing toolsets such as HP LoadRunner. In-depth understanding of system performance configuration and tuning techniques. Analyzes results and provides assistance to IT team members with issues needing validation and impact assessment, resolving performance issues.Incorporates strong problem solving capabilities and ability to effectively employ available resources and best practices (i.e. automation of manual procedures) where applicable.Ability to collaborate with teams in evaluating server and application functionality in order to meet performance and scalability requirements. Explain complicated performance bottlenecks to stakeholders and presents to all levels of management on desirable or necessary technology changes or improvements. Build advanced dashboards and queries.Utilizes strong business acumen. Recommend product customization for system integration Identify problem causality, business impact and root causes, given technical merits, cost considerations, deadlines, office politics and manageability.Operates in a large network / distributed infrastructure environment as a resource in large-scale, highly complex infrastructure projects. Fault/Performance/Service Level Management in the enterprise space.Implements project management skills including the facilitation of meetings and presentations, estimating project size, scope, risk assessment, resource planning, evaluating project progress, problem management, publishing project status and communicationUtilizes technical writing and analytical experience in debugging and diagnosing complex network issues and reporting on prognosis and or break/fix specifics. Maintains and create technical documentation relating to architecture and processes.Consistently utilizes key ITIL processes (Availability Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, etc.) in support of the environment.Responds reliably and promptly to voice mail, paging, email, written and oral communications to resolve system issues when needed (including off-hours and weekends)Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements with Proven track record of operational process change and improvementQualificationsRequirement:
    • 7 or more years Information Technology (IT) experience, especially in a mid- to large-sized organization
    • Min 5+ Years Exp: RedHat Linux 6+ Administration.
    • Min 5+ Years Exp: Windows Server OS: 2012+ Administration.
    • Working Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (Azure)
    • Min 2+ Years Exp: Modern AIOps/Observability tools that specifically cover Application Performance Monitoring (APM), Event Management, Synthetic Transactions, and Real User Monitoring, such as Dynatrace, Datadog, ScienceLogic, Splunk, Big Panda etc.
    • Min 2+ Years Exp (one or more): Micro Focus Operations Bridge Suite, SolarWinds Orion, and/or various storage and server hardware monitoring tools (Dell, HPE), etc.
    • Working Knowledge of the Open Telemetry open source Observability framework
    • Experience in monitoring performance on complex network topologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, VPN, WAN, SDWAN, SNMP, Cisco ACI.
    • Experience in Network Data Capture, Networking Protocols, Load Balancers, Firewalls.
    • Experience working with Multi-Tiered Applications.
    • Experience troubleshooting and understanding Application Traffic Flows.
    • 2+ years of experience with any modern language (Perl, PowerShell, Python)
    • 2+ years of experience with application/API communication methods (JSON, REST)
    • Conceptual MS SQ/Oracle DB knowledge.
    • Knowledge of ServiceNow, especially with integration of monitoring tools
    • 4-year college degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related disciplines (Preferred)
    • ITIL knowledge or certification a bonus (Preferred)
    • Other certifications in relevant areas a plus (e.g. Linux, HP, Microsoft, Cisco, Azure) (Strong plus)
    • Fortune 500 IT experience / large-scale infrastructures
    • Experience in multi-platform distributed environment preferable
    • Fundamental knowledge of and experience in Change Management principles
    • Strong Understanding of Event Management
    • Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs
    • Ability to implement technologies strategically
    • Fundamental Knowledge of DevOps Principles and Process
