Opening with Financial Service Company (Fintech)Location : PunePosition Summary :- We are looking for a smart, passionate, detail-oriented Search Engine Lead to join our Artificial Intelligence Team. This person will manage a team of search engineers who build world class, intuitive and comprehensive dictionary, taxonomy, thesaurus and ontology data that will be used across Organisation to optimize product discovery/navigation and classification. As a search Engineer, you will have the opportunity to build horizontal search capability.- Understanding of Search Platform ecosystem, Data Connectors, Data Transformation, Data Load, Data Index, Data Query clients, Data results relevance modules. Experience in Customizing Search workflows that includes faceted search, keywords search, phrase search, query expansion using synonyms.- Ability to work independently and take ownership and accountability on assigned tasks during execution through completion while being part of collaborative team. Strong Product sense and empathy of user search needs and pain points.- Build and Lead team of ML and AI scientist and Engineers. Be hands-on leader to mentor the team in latest machine learning and deep learning approaches and introduce New Technologies and Processes.- Ability to easily go from idea to working prototype in Python, Java and or Scala. Experience with Hadoop, Spark. Large Scale Machine Learning Algorithms and infrastructure that powers our search ranking module and personalized recommendation engine.- Natural Language Processing to understand text content including named entity resolution and recognition of reviews descriptions and interventions between users on marketplace.- Experience in building end-to-end state -of -art Machine Learning system that serve production traffic. Proven experience of driving incremental value and repeatable growth through products and services directly tied to machine learning techniques and technologies.- Ability to produce robust production quality code incorporating testing, evaluations, and monitoring. Collaborate with fellow data scientists and Engineers to implement effective and specific methodologies. Generate and present clear and concise reports.- Ability to develop and implement deep learning algorithms to address real business problems.- Hands-on Experience with broad range of machine learning/deep learning tools e.g. TensorFlow, Spark, Theano, PyTorch, scikit-learn, keras, Caffe and Collaboration environments (e.g. Jupyter Notebook, Pycharm). Extensive in designing solutions that optimize ML performance by through advance HW and Software techniques.- Implement best- practice for maintainable software development including but not limited to: Continuous integration, build, release, deployment process, management services in various environments, documentation, adherence to improvement of coding standard- Passionate about website usability with great instincts for improving customer experienceDuties and Responsibilities :- The Primary focus of this role is to develop and manage applications involved with Search Systems. Maintain and upgrade search indices for large document repositories, as well as optimizing indexing/queries and supporting analytics.- He will be leading a Team of search engineers who build Tags, taxonomy, Thesaurus and ontology data models and standard to define and organize our customers search experience.- Drive and coordinate cross-functional projects with broad range of Loan, Insurance and investment products owners, engineers, designers and other groups that may include architecting new data solutions- Analyze website metrics and customer behaviour data to make intelligent decisions on optimizing our search model.- Collaborate and consult directly with key stakeholders, technical teams and leadership on solutions for taxonomy and metadata that will positively impact the customers search experience- Expand and refine data retrieval techniques to use our extensive product catalog and improve customer data quality- This role is for machine learning and data-oriented product development (horizontal capability builds) but it will also require strong program management and execution skills. Technical Interactions with vendor or partners in technical capacity for business/capability deliverables. Develops proof of concept to prove or disprove validity of concept. Work with cross functional team to integrate these models into larger solutions.- Works collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment; Establishes and maintains professional networks with subject matter experts. Responsible for artificial intelligence / machine learning technology and application analysis, understand latest industrial and academic developments in AI/ML. Design competitive AI/ML services and user experience for next generation products and create prototypes for demonstration. Strong empowerment and self-drive is a must.Basic Qualifications :1. PhD/MTech/BE/ BTech/MSc in CS or Math, Operation research, Statistics, Econometrics or in any quantitative field2. 6+ years of industrial experience in analytics, predictive modeling, Machine learning, NLP, predictive analytics solution development and deployment3. Strong Problem-solving ability4. Should have strong experience in anyone or more programming languages Python or JAVA. Experience in RESTful, Web Services,5. Experience in using Python, R, SAS or any other statistical software (plus other open source libraries)6. skills with Shell/Perl (or similar scripting language), Scala and Java7. Experience with development tools like Eclipse, Git, Gradle, Jenkins, Jira, JFrog Artifactory etc.8. Experience with web application server like Tomcat, Jetty, JBoss etc.9. Strong understanding of OOP design patterns and industry best practices.10. Fair knowledge of scripting and working in Linux environment11. Good to have Experience of building Solutions with latest front-end technologies (JavaScript libraries like React or Angular, CSS3, HTML5).12. Hands-on experience of API Integration single-sign -on and token-based authentication. Experience integrating with SQL and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, Cassandra, MongoDB)13. Good understanding of DevOps pipeline like Azure Devops. Experience in Agile environment14. Experience in any of the following area could be plus: Lucene based search engines (Elasticsearch, Solr)15. Experience Container Orchestration technologies (Kubernetes), distributed systems, scalable data analytics technologies (Spark)16. Experience in mentoring junior team members, and guiding them on machine learning, NLP, Computer Vision, Speech analytics and data modeling applications17. Strong communication and data presentation skills18. Skills with Relational Databases, Data warehouses, Structured & Unstructured data forms.19. Publications /patents/presentation in recognized Machine Learning and Data Mining journals/conferences is preferred20. Solid knowledge in deep learning algorithms and AI system design and architecture.21. Strong hands-on nature (ability to self-code is a must).22. Strong capability to work on server class (cloud machines) for data science capability builds23. Strong IT & Business interactions capability24. Strong team player with exceptional program management.,
