The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset. They will possess a wide variety of technical experience covering systems administration, networking, virtualization and software deployment. A well-honed instinct for security and reliability is a must.RoleIn this technical lead position, you will: tLead the BizOps Application team and assist where necessary at a technical level. tSupport a highly available, highly secure production environment running on Linux using various different open source applications tSet standards and define detailed processes for effectively managing a production environment with minimal downtime tPerform daily monitoring and maintenance of all software infrastructure components tBe proactive and predictive, solve problems before they happen tEmbrace DevOps practices & methodologies tCarefully plan application deployments, migrations and upgrades to minimize service impactsAll About YouThe ideal candidate for this position should have: tAdvanced software experience (Linux/Unix, Java applications, automation, configuration management, scripting and software development) tAdvanced experience supporting highly available and fault tolerant systems (Databases, containers, proxies) tAdvanced Virtualization experience (VMware, Openstack) tIntermediate Cloud technologies experience (Azure, AWS or equivalent) tIntermediate Networking experience (Ex. TCP/IP, UDP, Routing, Firewalls, load-balancers) tComputer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent experience tParticipate in on-call shifts, our service runs 24/7 tSecurity knowledge & experience (Ex. Encryption/Hardening/Certificates/PKI/SSH/VPN) tAlways look for potential solutions to solve problems tDesire to document everything.Due to COVID-19, most of our employees are working from home.
