Job Description

  • Development of technology offerings for Asia Pacific. In addition, contribute to global innovation projects as needed. The projects would include lab work and field work to develop and commercialize new technologies at our customers sites.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing team to clearly define the problem statement and project deliverables, collaborate with other researchers in the RDE organization to develop the offering, and run field trials to demonstrate technical fit and value proposition.
  • Lead as a key technical contributor on projects/experiments/research of significant scope and complexity with very high impact on the Business. Over time, act with considerable latitude in determining technical approach required to meet desired outcomes.
  • Provide high quality technical support needed for promoting products and programs. Make technical recommendations to solve issues for the Asia Pacific customer base.
  • Identify local and regional industry trends and customer s requirements to capture ideas and develop project proposals.
  • Interpret experimental / field trial data and communicate results clearly to peers and project teams in written reports and oral presentations
  • Adherence to all Safety guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering: Master s Degree and 8+ years related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Able to effectively work with cross-functional teams (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain) country, regionally and globally based.
  • Experience in industrial water treatment (or related industry) RD and/or Applied Technology, Engineering
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in industrial RD environment
  • Project management experience
  • Strong teamwork with Business/Marketing to define innovation projects, track project progress regularly and manage projects
  • Open minded team player, also self-starter
  • Focused and driven while at the same time agile and flexible with the approach and assignments
  • Proven track record in leading research projects and delivering results
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis
