Must have a working knowledge of an InTune infrastructure along with endpoint configuration and strategy experience. For each of the following (operating systems, applications, device drivers), this knowledge is mandatory: How to configure for installation. How to deploy. How to determine and implement the installation method (silent/non-silent, enable logging, use of specific install technologies). How to make post-install configuration changes. How to troubleshoot issues. How to produce/update technical documentation Operating systems: Windows 10 Applications: Common applications found in enterprise environments: - Office Suit: Microsoft Office (MSI and Office 365), Google Suite - AntiVirus: Windows Defender, McAfee products, Symantec products - VM sessions: Citrix Receiver - Web Browers: Edge, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer - PDF Reader: Edge, Adobe products - Meeting software: Skype, WebEx - VPN connection: Cisco AnyConnect, F5 Big-IP Edge Client, or other similar products Device Drivers: Drivers for devices on laptops, desktops, and tablet systems. Tools: Scripting: Batch files, VB script, PowerShell: These basic scripting languages are a must. Knowledge of VB .NET or any form of Visual C is a plus, but not needed. Application installation technologies: Familiarity with the Windows Installer technology is a must have. Working knowledge of other install technologies (InstallShield, Drive Package Installer, ZIP self-extraction) are a plus. Deployment Toolsets: Working knowledge of each of these: Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) Microsoft Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) Windows Preinstallation Environment (WinPE) Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) / System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Configuration files: Knowledge of the format of these files and their uses: INI, XML, HTML Virtualization: Use of one or more virtualization environments: Microsoft HyperV, VMWare VMWorkstation, Oracle VirtualBox Network traffic capture: Knowledge of tools such as WireShark or NetMon is a plus. Knowledge of how the client systems fit in and work with components of the enterprise environments is a must. Active Directory Networking: Ethernet, WiFi Communications: TCP/IP, FTP, Web browser traffic Disk Encryption: Bitlocker Some up and coming technologies where having knowledge about is a plus: Use of cloud-based client configuration tools. Cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud) InTune: Infrastructure design, deployment and maintenance experience. Deployment strategy planning. Steady state management. Hybrid environment exposure (SCCM/InTune).
