A highly skilled and seasoned Macintosh Client Engineer who applies a broad and in-depth working knowledge of macOS computers to a wide variety of challenging assignments through the application of technical concepts, practices, and procedures. The primary functions of this position are to manage the Jamf Pro infrastructure and to manage macOS computers in a distributed computing environment. This includes, but is not limited to, coordination of Mac software distribution, settings management, inventory discovery, software packaging, support automation, troubleshooting and problem resolution associated with macOS computers. The applicant will work in a large, complex work environment with critical deadlines. The ability to work independently with little direction or supervision is essential. Duties and Responsibilities Consult with customers on the timing for implementing software upgrades, to be determined by the customer Monitor and maintain the Jamf Pro infrastructure across the customer s global environment for on-premise implementations Develop and maintain software distribution packages for deployment via Jamf Pro Maintain and improve documentation relating to the Jamf Pro administration processes and procedures Monitor recommended and required corrections/patches to Third-Party software titles and take appropriate action to distribute these updates Work with customer IT, business, finance, procurement, legal departments, and asset management on inventory reporting from Jamf Pro Manage macOS security compliance through MDM configuration profiles and configuration scripts Identify area for improving processes, procedures and infrastructure Ensure the success of Jamf Pro software distribution and maintain configuration items in CMDB or ITAM Prepare and deliver monthly Jamf Pro operational review fo customer and internal management Skills Requirement The application must possess: 5+ years of experience in Mac enterprise environment Experience in a large corporate environment including a developer or design community Experience in a Mac environment that exists in a predominately Windows infrastructure Industry certificates: Apple and Jamf (200, 300, 350, 400) Bachelor or Associated degree in computer science, IT or related field from an accredited college. Experience with: Zero-Touch provisioning based on Apple DEP Automatic Device Enrollment solutions Application packaging: Jamf Pro with signing, notarization and wrapping of packages Deployments and Distribution using the Jamf Pro suite of tools Scripting: Python, Bash and/or AppleScript Analyzing, testing and engineering with the latest hardware and software Advanced troubleshooting of macOS client issues InTune exposure and support and definite plus.Here at Atos, we want all of our employees to feel valued, appreciated, and free to be who they are at work.
