Job Description

Xoriant has deep client relationships spanning over 20 years with various clients ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companiesAs our new Tech Lead Data, you will:
    • Role & Responsibility
    • Lead the platform engineering team s day-to-day software development and troubleshooting work
    • Work with our Data Architect and Engineering Manager to break down epics and stories into task and plan the development work
    • Set the methodology of the team in collaboration with engineering leadership and run any associated meetings (e.g. standups and retrospectives)
    • Help organize the platform engineering team to meet the operational requirements and support obligations
    • Help spread knowledge about the Data Platform through our monthly Roundtable
    • Coach and develop more junior engineers on the team
    • Mandatory Skills You are leading the platform engineering team day-to-day and it s important that you enjoy organising software development, troubleshooting, and coaching more junior engineers. You will also be representing the platform team in technical interactions with other teams, so it s important that you enjoy this kind of work too. In order to contribute to this role, you have: Significant software engineering experience (7+ years) Leadership experience through formal or informal roles A cloud native mindset with a cattle not pets attitude to data infrastructure Experience with cloud scale data processing and data storage challenges, ideally Snowflake and Kafka Experience of cloud scale integrations with different tooling to process large volumes of data Experience with operationalizing Data Infrastructure Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
