Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Experience with Board Design and Electronics design tools for e.g. Altium Designer or similar product
  • Design and development experience power supply, analog, digital, mixed signal and product life cycle hardware design and documentation.
  • Exposure to Control Systems of electromechanical device.
  • Exposure to interfaces RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, CAN, etc.
  • Exposure to Engineering Change Management
  • Knowledge on usage of T M equipment s like : Digital Oscilloscope/Logic analyzer, function generator, test point probing
  • Product Sustenance and Documentation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Product life cycle design and documentation.
  • Ability to root cause a failure and/or trend at the circuit and system level.
  • Knowledge of Intelligent Production Systems products used in the oil and gas industry
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering from a recognized university with excellent academic record
  • Have minimum of 5 to 6 years industry experience
  • Master s degree in the field of Electrical Electronics Engineering preferred
  • Experience with Board Design and Electronics design tools for e.g. Altium Designer or similar product
  • Design and development experience Analog, Digital, Microcontrollers, sensors, etc.
  • Exposure to interfaces RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, CAN, etc.
Desired Characteristics:
  • Preferred Certified Interconnect Designer (CID) basic or advanced.
  • Electro/mechanical design experience desired.
  • Experience in qualification testing e.g. vibration testing, and temperature testing.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Exposure on DFMEA.
  • Project Management Skills
  • Ability to work autonomously within strategic guidelines
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Presentation skills
  • Skills in the use of Microsoft office packages, SAP and identifying process improvements
  • Knowledge on RoHS, WEEE, CE etc
  • Ability to work in a team and use own initiative
  • Capability to think strategically and manage change
  • Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders including operations, sourcing, Product management and Project management organizations
  • Experience of working in a matrix, multicultural environment
