As a Automation Engineer at the Incedo Cyber Security Center of Excellence in Pune you will be working on the products and solutions in the domain of cyber security providing fundamental security controls for a leading cyber security firm in USA (Tripwire). Tripwire delivers advanced threat protection, security and compliance solutions, enabling enterprises, government agencies and service providers to confidently detect, prevent and respond to cybersecurity threats to their business.This position is a hands-on contributor role. Working as part of a team you would be responsible for: Building test plans, test suites, and manual or automated test cases for assigned changes Building up environments independently to test assigned work Executing manual and automated tests API and UI Automation Reporting the results Create accurate, thoughtful and comprehensive defect reports Investigate customer problems referred by technical support Engage and participate on an Agile team of a world-class software developers. Apply independence and creativity to problem solving across project assignments. Primary Skills: You must be very good in Python. Demonstrated understanding of QA methodologies Experience working with SQL and understanding of relational databases You must have test experience on Linux and UNIX environments. You should have experience in test Automation frameworks. Experience in UI Automation tools like Cypress is preferred but not required, however, there will be extensive UI Automaton work. Experience in testing SaaS based cloud applications hosted at Amazon AWS Knowledge and experience of AWS services like S3, Ec2, and RDS etc. Our products run on Linux, Windows, Mac OS X and multiple UNIX flavors. Our ideal candidate has experience targeting a broad range of operating systems. Experience creating test strategies that ensure comprehensive, pragmatic, and scalable testing approaches. Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to excel in a fast-paced, fast-growth environment where action and initiative are prerequisites to performing well. Experience designing and debugging tests that measure performance and functionality under scale and load. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to interface well with externally facing departments and directly with customers. Desire to work in an agile team that strives to be great, is politely self-critical, and continuously improves.Secondary Skills: Familiarity with continuous integration products like Team City and Jenkins.
