Financial Reporting is responsible for preparing statutory annual , and regulatory quarterly and / or interim financial statements as required and Schedule of Investments. The financial statements are prepared using the relevant GAAP which is based on the domicile of the fund , and which may be , IFRS , Irish , Jersey , Luxembourg US or UK. Funds may be domiciled in the Cayman Islands , Ireland , Jersey , Luxembourg , the US or the UK. The incumbent will be responsible for leading highly qualified and energetic team of US / EMEA Financial Reporting Line of Business. The Job holder is responsible for ensuring all financial reports are submitted on time with expected accuracy. He / she will be responsible for meeting department SLAs. Ensure Financial Reporting meets corporate and any applicable regulatory standards. Reviews changes in accounting disclosure standards to direct process changes needed to ensure compliance. Present fund reports to board of directors to ensure good governance and communication of fund status. Oversee relationship with auditors and clients to make changes to financial reports to ensure they correctly depict fund performance. Thinks critically to resolve issues as they arise. Shares ideas and solutions about process improvements with first line managers and on - shore project team. Work with key stakeholders to understand their expectation , formulate strategies to meet stipulated goals. Maintain knowledge of the IAX and Eagle fund accounting platforms , RR Donnelley s ReportBuilder , FundSuiteSX and ARC financial reporting platforms , Bloomberg , and other necessary financial reporting systems. Maintain understanding of client - specific financial reporting requirements. Recruits , Directs , motivates and develops staff , maximize their individual contribution , their processional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Comply with all Bank of New York Mellon and legacy Mellon corporate policies and procedures , including HR policies and procedures , applicable to BNY Mellon (India) Alert management including the Senior Risk Manager for BNY Mellon (India) immediately of any significant changes to business risks and internal control effectiveness. Notify management and / or the Senior Risk Manager for BNY Mellon (India) immediately on discovery of any regulatory breach. Comply with all Security and Health & Safety policies and procedures operating within the business. Qualifications CA , CPA , CFA , MBA. Overall 12 years of experience in the similar function / industry including experience of managing a team of minimum 30 people.
