It is a streamlined interface that enables transaction originators and receivers (e.g., merchants, financial institutions, and processors) to connect to other players in the payment ecosystem. Our team of integrators, analysts, testers and subject matter experts work together to build four platforms that encompasses full lifecycle of payment processing. We are looking for a Lead Software Development Engineer to design, develop and deliver highly complex customers, platforms focused projects, initiatives. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.Role tEnsure quality of one or more application codebases and alignment with development standards tApplies technical capabilities within own discipline to coach and develop junior employees tProvides input into performance appraisal process for some junior employees or team members tDesigns highly complex applications, interfaces and integration with a modest number of systems tIntegrates at an enterprise level using third-party middleware or messaging products, or by designing and implementing custom interfaces and mapping for those interfaces tResponsible for performance engineering of the enterprise software architecture, and providing functional guidance, advice, and/or training to other application developers tModest advanced code development, code review and day-to-day support duties tGroup-wide and external public speaking and other communications conveying domain level directions tResearching and evaluating tools to support domain-specific needsAll About You tMinimum Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of experience and formal education required tKnowledge and experience of various IBM Mainframes technologies such as Cobol, JCL, DB2, CICS, MQ. Scheduling tools - OPC/CA7, Version control - Endevor/Changeman tKnowledge of Mastercard, Cards payments industry preferred. Knowledge and experience with FIS s Connex or IST product suite is a plus tAdvanced knowledge and experience with software developmet engineering principals including waterfall and agile methodologies is required tBe a strong, confident, and exacting writer and speaker, able to communicate project goal, and roadmap effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders tOrganizational and planning and multi-tasking skills while adaptive to Change tLeadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills required with a track record for developing internal and external relationshipsDue to COVID-19, most of our employees are working from home.
