What you get to do You will get to team up with highly talented and highly motivated engineers and architects innovating the next generation of Qualys Technology Platform. As a part of this team , you will be working in a fast paced environment prototyping , designing , developing and supporting a highly scalable Security & Threat modeling platform that checks the Security posture of thousands of endpoints. Responsibilities: Design , implement the next generation of Threat Modeling endpoint product on a distributed , scalable , high - performance malware detection platform. Produce high - quality software with a scalable architecture solid design principles Qualifications: 6 - 9 years of software product development experience Excellent programming and designing skills in C on Windows Good understanding of object oriented software development Good understanding of Secure coding practices Good understanding of basic operating system fundamentals Strong problem solving , analytical and communication skills Additional Skills Desired: Experience in end point security , antivirus engines , malware Good understanding of Network Security Good understanding of Python Has worked in an Agile / Sprint development model.
