Job Description

    Leading MNC hiring MDM ProfilePosition: MDM Analyst / LeadExperience: Min 5yrsCTC: 6 LPA - 10LPALocation: PuneQualification: BE / BTech / ME / MTechRole:Document Controller Analyst is responsible for maintaining documents as per standards and responsible to manage and provide the documents to the respective departments or functions in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.Responsibilities:
    • Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of tag validations & data extraction from engineering documents.
    • Ensure document data is consistent with the tag register data.
    • Validate tag data for the key quality measures of completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
    • Identify and implement process and solution requirements for Engineering process.
    • Regularly connect with stake holders and resolve conflicts across Engineering Documents based on agreed trigger points, further escalate to higher levels of authority for solution or direction and feedback.
    • Identify and contribute to the improvement of defective trends or areas of process performance weakness in the end-to-end process.
    • Timely and accurate closure of document control cases in ALIM
    • Manage lifecycle of documentation and ensure alignment to processes and procedures.
    • Maintain document specific PIM documentation (e.g., Master document register, document distribution matrix)
    • Accountable for tool configuration and user account administration for any tools deployed for document management.
    • Provide a service to manage and maintain project documentation control in a consistent manner across project interfaces covering receipt, audit, transmission, & distribution of documentation.
    • Work with contractors document control team in establishing tools, and process to deliver document control to company standards.
    • Quality assurance of tag numbers from engineering documents.
    • Quality assurance and populating of technical and mandatory attributes with respect to Tag numbers from documents.
    • Suggestion of new tag numbers missing in tag register from engineering documents.
    • Suggestion of new classes for classifying different tag numbers.
    • Identify and contribute to the improvement for E2E process.
    • Tagging right documents references in tag register.
    • Working hours (UK/Europe/US shift) to support Business Stakeholders
    Skills:
    • Bachelors degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation).
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a client-service oriented function with experience in Procurement / Supply chain experience.
    • Prior experience in Engineering Documentation would be an advantage (Hazid Tool/ALIM)
    • Ability to analyze raw data/input images, drawing conclusions and developing recommendations.
    • Basic knowledge on specific industry: Oil & Gas Equipments and Engineering Drawings & symbols.
    • Tag identification, classification, parametric data (attributes), application of Engineering Equipment.
    • Enrichment: Searching part from the manufacturer website and extract the required information.
    • Cleansing & normalize the Engineering data & update it in the client approved template.
    • Ability to upload data to Product Centre Database/repository.
    • Experience of working cross culturally and in an international environment.
    • Ability to communicate and influence across various levels in the organization.
    • Engaging and collaborative way of working.
    • Resilient and experienced in working in multi-faceted environment.
