    Role - Mainframe DeveloperExp 4 to 6yearsNp- 15days to ImmediateLocation- PuneKey responsibilities:o Design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications in Agile/Waterfallo Understand High Level Design, Application Interface Design & build Low Level Design as per specifications. Perform application analysis & propose technical solution for application enhancement or resolve production issueso Investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provides fixes and workarounds, and reviews changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.o Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performanceo Perform Development & Deployment. Should be able to write well designed, testable, efficient Code, Unit Test & Deployo Creation necessary documentation for all project deliverable phaseso Handle Production Issues (Tier 2 Support, weekend on-call rotation) to resolve production issues & ensure SLAs are metTechnical Skills: Main Skill MainframeMandatoryo Mandatory and Hands on experience in Mainframe Programming COBOL, JCL, IMSDB, System Utilizes like SORT, FILEAID etc. REXX, SAS scripting toolso Transfer mechanisms Connect Direct, sFTP, etcGood to haveo DB2o Telecom domain knowledgeBehavioral skills:o Curious, Eagerness & Hunger & open to learn in Technologies not worked upon in the pasto Good problem solving & decision-making skillso Good communication skills within the team, site and with the customero Ability to stretch respective working hours when necessary, to support business needso Ability to work independently and drive issues to closureo Consult when necessary with relevant parties, raise timely riskso Effectively handle multiple and complex work assignments, while consistently deliver high quality work
