Bachelor s degree required and/or equivalent work experience.5+ years experience on the zSeries (mainframe) platform including hands on technical experience (installation and maintenance of products) related to VTAM, TCP/IP, OSA configurations, FTP, EDI, and OEM product support.Thorough working knowledge of IP configurations, IP routing and EDI products, as well as the use of IBM s SMP/E and OSA/SF.Knowledge of network hardware (including Visara devices, BARR system, 317x and 37x5), and hardware configuration.Strong analytical skills and understanding of mainframe network concepts and configuration.Self-motivated and able to work independently.
