Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Lead a team of senior, mid-level, and junior developers and administrators.
Guide technical team members through onboarding activities, familiarizing new team members with Rocket Salesforce customizations and configurations, and ongoing training, with a focus on continual learning for the team.
Assist business analyst team in gathering business requirements by working with stakeholders to analyze business use cases and document user stories.
Translate business requirements into technical requirements to be implemented by the team.
Maintain Jira Scrum board(s) to plan and prioritize work with the Rocket Salesforce Agile Lead.
Allocate planned sprint work to developers, touch base regularly for updates on ticket status, identify / clear blockers, coordinate unit / UAT testing, and plan deployments.
Provide leadership in estimating and prioritizing work for the team.
Assist with design and development on the Salesforce Platform working with Apex classes, Apex triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), VisualForce pages, SOQL, web services, etc.
Assist with system administration, configuration, and declarative development features (Objects/ Fields, Reports, Dashboards, Approval Processes, Workflow Rules, Process Builder, Visual Flow, Profiles, Permission Sets, Record Sharing, etc.).
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience providing leadership for Salesforce development teams.
3-5 years of software engineering / application development experience.
Minimum 2 years experience developing in Salesforce in Apex / Visualforce.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work on less-defined projects and self-manage tasks.
Works well in a team. Team oriented, collaborative, accountable and dependable.
Salesforce certifications in the development, administrator, and/or architect tracks preferred
Lightning Web Component (LWC) / Aura experience preferred
Some JavaScript / JavaScript library (JQuery, AngularJS, etc.) experience preferred
Experience with standard Salesforce dev tools (DataLoader, Visual Studio Code, etc.)
