Job Description

This exciting role offers opportunity to:

  • Interface with stakeholders to drive Analysis First in product development cycle
  • Exhibit deep technical skills in EMI/EMC, monitor progress on all projects, ensure proper technical reviews and expert resolution of engineering problems through mentoring employees in day to day execution
  • Provide overall leadership to develop & mature Digital Prototyping capabilities in electromagnetics domain such as EMI/EMC, motor performance, dielectrics etc.and keep the supervisor updated about the progress
  • Champion continuous capability and process improvements to support the Eaton Business System: Profit planning, Technology roadmap, APEX, Merit planning, Customer & Employee surveys, DFSS
  • Attract, develop and retain team of highly qualified engineers as per business needs. Coach and motivate subordinates to achieve their professional goals and review their accomplishments
  • Manage key business results as defined in Balanced Scorecard for the team/organization
  • Demonstrate tenacity and flexibility to consistently deliver results under dynamic business situations
  • Leverage existing synergies within team and across boundaries to drive efficiency across the organization
  • Demonstrate passion for CAE domain and work with SME s to expand DP technology envelope
  • Ensure employee engagement & managerial effectiveness through execution on employee survey action plans
QualificationsRequirement:
  • MTech/ M.S. in Electrical & Electronics with 7-8 Yrs; electromagnetics simulation expertise in EMI/EMC, electric drives & systems
  • Electromagnetics modelling of electrical drives & systems, power electronics. Proven expertise in developing DP models. It is expected to have deep expertise in electromagnetics modeling tools (MAXWELL, ANSYS Emag, Q3D, Simplorer etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing & developing technology team
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Working experience with global team in a MNC set
