Job Description

    * Duties and Responsibilities - 3. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Accountabilities associated with the job) Duties & Responsibilities: Core Competencies: Ability to provide end to end analytics support including pulling data preparing analysis interpreting data making strategic recommendations & presenting to business verticals Analysing the raw data collinearity outlier detection & carrying out statistical analysis Lead entire project individually which includes Problem Definition Data Gathering EDA Design Statistical Solution Model Development Model Evaluation Model Rollout Requirement Understanding: Co-ordinate with different business units for identification of possible use cases. Formulation of logical solutions for business use cases and defining use cases. Feature Repurposing: Analyse the existing data feature and identify features/models that have applicability for different business Discuss and make different business unit aware of possible feature that might be useful for their unit Product Backlog and Prioritization: Should define the functional feature roadmap of the product and create Product backlog. Quality Testing & Reporting: Should define acceptance Criteria / Scenarios & Coordinate beta tests. Product Rollout planning: Ensure time bound and successful launch of data models Liaising with various stakeholders to resolve queries raised pertaining to data. 4. MAJOR CHALLENGES (Challenges faced on an on-going basis in carrying out the job) Horizontal- Monitoring & Project Execution KPI- success metrics ownership Liasoning with internal stakeholders for Data Capability Support & Project Management 5. DECISIONS (Key decisions taken by job holder at his/her end) Timeline & Deliverables for all Data related & Analytical projects , * Educational Qualifications a) Qualifications & Work Experience Technical Knowledge & Experience Degree in Statistics with 5+ years of experience in Predictive modelling and Statistical analysis, preferably in BFSI domain Hands on experience on tolls like SAS, R, Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau Hands on experience on Machine Learning algorithms like CART, CHAID, Decision Tree, XGBoost, Random Forest, kNN, GBM Skills in analysing the raw data normality, collinearity & outlier detection and carrying out Descriptive Statistical Analysis Hands on Predictive Modelling techniques like Regression, Time Series, Factor Analysis, and Segmentation Advanced Time Series techniques like ARIMA & ARIMAX, Regression models, Model Validation, forecasting models Sound working knowledge of BASEL-III, CCAR & PPNR modelling, EBA Stress Testing, VaR Modelling, SR 11-7 Guidelines, Simulation techniques like VAR/Covariance VaR calculation, Historical and Monte-Carlo Simulation Personal Attributes o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- both verbal & written o Ability to multi task- work on tight deadlines and able to cope under pressure o Attention to detail and high level of accuracy o Strong problem solving/logical thinker and highly numerate o Ability to work with cross functional teams and multiple stakeholders
