Job Description

  1. Analyzing existing design and improve.
  2. Design of High speed, slow speed, Epi-cyclic and Gear Boxes for Marine applications.
  3. Development of Gear Box / Prototyping.
  4. Development of new product.
  5. Gear / Bearing / Seal / Oil selection to meet durability and efficiency target.
  6. New technology and new product introduction and their life cycles.
Required Candidate profileEducation : B.E (Mechanical) / M.E.(Mech) Experience : 8-10 years of experience in Gear Industries.Location: Pune, Kothrud Skills :
  1. Should have exposure to global best practices.
  2. Sound manufacturing process knowledge.
  3. Exposure with design standards like API, AGMA, DIN, RINA, ASME.
  4. 3D cad software experience especially in Uni-graphics, Inverter, Solid works and PRO-E.
  5. Excellent understanding of materials and manufacturing process.
  6. Ability to define FEA inputs and correlate the results and incorporate changes in the design.
  7. Hands on experience in design calculation
  8. Good ability to understand critical functional relationship of the component.
