In this role, you will play a key part within the IT team, as you ll be responsible for keeping multiple IT application, infrastructure, database, robotics process automation (RPA), and data management tools environments available and secure. Along with the rest of your team, you will interact with different stakeholders of multiple teams around the world to deliver application maintenance and production support on critical business environments. Youll manage teams in multiple domains like operating system (OS) infrastructure, business intelligence (BI) infrastructure, databases, RPA, and hosted and cloud applications to provision new services, perform upgrades, develop automated self-service scenarios, and manage incidents. As a Manager, you will help the team make progress in a complicated and fast-paced environment while consistently meeting service-level agreements (SLAs) and keeping globally-distributed, hosted, and cloud-based applications, application platforms, and databases running for our customers.Primary job responsibilities

  • Lead and grow an innovative team of application developers, administrators, and IT operations support associates maintaining the overall health of OS and business intelligence (BI) infrastructure, robotics platform, databases, and hosted and cloud or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications
  • Own the health, reliability, and availability of applications and maintain hosted and cloud applications
  • Perform stakeholder management to ensure the delivery of effective operations across time zones for all services
  • Provide coaching, oversight, and escalation support to the teams
  • Ensure that incidents are managed and resolved quickly and that retrospectives and root cause analyses are completed within expected timelines
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for performing maintenance tasks, applying configuration changes, and remediating problems in the environment
  • Manage regional shift schedules, ensuring a 16/5 resource availability
  • Participate in sprint planning and release cycles of the teams
  • Schedule maintenance windows, considering customer and team resource requirements
  • Coordinate with teams across the organization to reduce operational friction and automate wherever possible
Required skills
  • 15+ years of experience in core IT services infrastructure management and IT platform services
  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple IT teams
  • Comfortable managing associates in the open organization way
  • Knowledge of practicing open decision framework
  • Ability to understand and discuss deep technical issues with associates
  • Demonstrated experience with contemporary project management methodologies like agile, kanban, or scrum
  • 1+ year(s) of experience managing teams working on various databases including Oracle, MS SQL, and open source databases
  • 1+ year(s) of experience supporting BI platforms like Informatica, Tableau, or SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ)
  • 1+ year(s) of experience managing technical teams working on RPA platforms
  • 1+ year(s) of experience with cloud providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Compute Engine (GCE), or Microsoft Azure
