Job Description

  • ROLE OF LOCATION CO-ORDINATOR/INCHARGE ASSET MANAGEMENT Co-ordinating/assisting with all the departments for IT capital budget as per their requirement and special requirements apart from Projects.
  • Revenue budgeting for IT spares and network spares and departmental expenses. Providing justification for all IT capital and revenue requirements to HO on behalf of other departments.
  • Follow up with Procurement team for PO of capital and revenue items their receipt and processing payments with the help of FMS team.
  • Processing of assets transfer from this location and from other locations and co-ordinating with accounts for this activity Planning of replacement of IT assets.
  • Identifying and disposal of old Capital IT assets and coordinating with HO for their timely disposal.
  • Arranging of disposal of revenue e-waste in coordination with local safety and Scrap disposal team.
  • HELP DESK MANAGEMENT Allocation of work as per their skill and ability to FMS service engineers and monitoring their work.
  • Guiding the FMS engineers in customer interaction and encouraging them to put more efforts. Co-ordinating with FMS principal at HO on resignation and timely replacement of FMS Engineers. Induction training to new FMS engineers on their joining.
  • Close interaction with HODs (VIP) and critical users and resolving their problem on top priority basis. Fulfilling some special IT requirement of departments in plant.
  • VENDOR MANAGEMENT Follow up with Capital and revenue vendors for timely supply of material.
  • Execution of new projects at Plants in close co-ordination with plant , network vendors and COE teams. Viz MES etc.
  • Arranging permits for network vendors for undertaking activities inside the plant as per safety rules.
  • Maintaining statutory documents of vendor personnel working in plant and informing the Administration and security departments.
  • SPECIAL ACTIVITIES Undertaking network jobs inside the plant with the help of FMS engineers on need basis as per requirement of business.
  • Viz. renovations, new offices etc. Support for CCTV, including network , server and storage Location datacenter Management and capacity planning.
  • Coordination with COE team for new requirements and installation of new equipments and servers in co-ordination with Vendors. New initiatives for strengthening the existing network like .
  • Switch Hardening, OFC cleaning activities ISMS , Projects from HO and CIT Preparation of ISMS documentation and updating on regular basis Arranging ISMS training to users in coordination with ISR Execution of IT projects in time assigned from HO and CIT. Completing ISMS audit for IT assets as per ISMS policies
  • Coordinating and completing internal and external ISMS audits.
  • Experience 5 + years Qualification Graduation in Engineering (Mechanical / Production )
