The primary purpose of this role is to deliver analytical / decision services on cloud to Vodafone s businesses across the globe. The role works with NexGen team and is a part of the Vodafone Shared Services organisation in India. The incumbent works on the assigned projects & its stakeholder to understand the business challenges faced by them. Using expertise in analytics on cloud, the incumbent provide structured and data-backed analytics solutions to create bottom-line impact for the business. The role leverages / re-engineers existing solutions to delivery efficiently. The role also demands an innovation led approach to delivery by using latest analytical techniques / technologies. The candidate works with the assigned business stakeholder(s) to agree scope, deliverables, process and expected outcomes from the products and services developed.Key accountabilities and decision ownership: Design and deliver project(s) while working with a team as individual contributor Support build & deployment of analytical solutions on cloud in Google cloud platform (models, hypothesis, analyses & scenarios) across the spectrum of analytical maturity - descriptive, inferential, predictive & prescriptive Connects with stakeholders to understand and solve business challenges using analytics/ machine learning Improve efficiencies in delivering analytical services through automation and standardisation of analytical delivery Provide a delightful and easy to work experience to the business stakeholders while setting clear expectations Support in creation of reusable assetsCore competencies, knowledge and experience : PhD / Masters in Computer Science, Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics or Mathematics/ MBA from a premier college Minimum experience of 6-7 years in ML Modelling / Data Science Professional data engineer/ Associate Cloud Engineer certificate from Google (GCP) will be preferred Excellent communication & presentation skills Flexibility, problem solving and dealing with ambiguity Previous experience in Telecom would be a preferred Demonstrable experience in MLMust have technical / professional qualifications: Hands on experience in modelling on Python and SQL with through knowledge of various analytical & statistical techniques Experience in using ML libraries like SparkML/ Tensorflow, Scikit-Learn, Pandas and Statsmodels Working knowledge of GCP tools: Dataproc, Big Query, AI Platform, Dataflow, Cloud Composer Well versed with support tools like GIT Exceptional data manipulation and analysis techniques; comfortable using very large (>10 s millions rows) datasets, containing both structured and unstructured data Exposure to building data pipelines to model serving in both streaming and batch process environment Experience of working on GCP/AWS will be preferredKey performance indicators [max 3]: Creation of bottom-line impact in terms of cost saved or margins earned for the supported business Well engaged team & partners Creation of reusable, defined analytical products (including documentation and, where appropriate, training) #_VOIS,
