Job Description

Qualification: Post Graduate / Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.Years of Experience: Post Graduate with 8+ years of relevant experience.Durability and Strength Analysis Skills: Should be able to carry out static and dynamic analysis of Motorcycle vehicle structures and fatigue analysis to predict life using Hypermesh, Motionsolve, Adams, ANSYS, NASTRAN., ABAQUS, Matlab. Knowledge of FEMFAT / MSC FATIGUE / Design life will be an added advantage.Educational Qualification: (Premium Institutes)Essential :

  • Graduate/ Post Graduate in Mech engg from reputed institute
  • Clarity of engineering fundamental concepts
  • Understanding of Mechanical Design/Computer Aided Engineering processes
Desirable:
  • Post graduate
Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience
Responsibilities:
  • Virtual validation (FEA) of structural parts
  • FEA/MBD analysis of motorcycle parts for it s functionality and durability
  • Develop new analysis procedures/Refinement of existing
  • Procedures/Correlation of analysis results with test/Develop test for parts durability and correlation of CAE results
Technical/ Functional:
  • Exposure to CAE (FEA) tools /techniques and domains (like durability, NVH)
  • Awareness about automotive systems
  • ANSYS, Altair Tools (Hypermesh,Hyperview,SIMLAB etc), ADAMS, MATLAB, RICARDO, ABAQUS, etc
  • Knowledge Related to strain gauges, accelerometer, load cell etc
Specific expertise required for functional area :
  • Experience with any of following softwares preferable: Altair/hyperworks, ANSYS, Nastran etc
  • Fatigue code Ncode/DesignLife
  • CAE Basics Tools and knowledge of FEA
  • Should be able to seamlessly integrate between test and simulation, attitude to take initiatives
